We Playin' Bas-ket-ball

The SBB III went pretty well, much respect to Brett. Check his tape-delayed blog. Stop Snitchin' 2.0 is a lil' different, but the spirit is the same. I really wanted Gilbert, but the Shakes got to him first. I was happy with my selections Chrises Paul and Bosh, though. I was trying to decide between Bosh and D-Howard, and Bosh dual-eligibility was the deal-breaker. I will also miss my team's namesake, Carmelo Anthony, no doubt. I was surprised how high he went. I thought I'd have a chance to snatch him no the round 3/4 flip-side.

I did experience some connection "issues", resulting in my taking Nenad Krstic (although he is an alumni) and Marvin Williams. Brett, I had planned on taking Stephen "Quick Draw" Jackson with my pick in the 14th. But overall I am pleased with my squad. We should be able to rebound and "D" it up with the best of them. Let the NBA season begin!

No NO Sleep SLEEP 'til Draft Day*

- Body armor not included.

Who can forget about the Sunday evening SBB III draft? I definitely can not! Fantasy league drafts are always a fun time. I'm glad Brett is going to blog it. I doubt I will, but I will post about my team, experiences and the draft, in general.

+ Scranton's favorite TV show? The Office, naturally.

+ Looks like TK Stack Money is one and done on MNF. Can't say I blame him, Tirico and Theismann is no Wilbon/Lebetard/Whitlock/Dupree/Andy Polley/Ryan...

* That was a "No Sleep Til Brooklyn" reset in honor of the Beastie Boys appearing on VH1's hip hop honors.

PR3 Finale

Tonight is (finally) the Project Runway season 3 finale. And if my boy Jeffrey Sebelia does NOT get removed from the show and finishes ahead of Uli Germania, I will be the proud recipient of $80. Not too shabby.

+ In anticipation for the SBB III draft this Sunday, I carved out a little time this morning to create the Stop Snitchin' draft board v.1. I really want the 2006-07 Snitchin' squad to be as awesome as last year's.

+ I think PA should follow suit on MA's decion to eliminate tolls.

Back in Fantasyland

Huzzah! I'm back in fantasyland and life is good. Life, and sports, are just a little better - have a little more zing - when you are in a fantasy league. You're part of a community, and a community based on sports at that! String Bean Basketball III is alive and well, and Stop Snitchin' just re-enlisted today. So, I'm pretty happy about that.

Something else I'm happy about...

The Office is back, tonight! Don't forget.
