Weinstock

+ Suckers.

+ Congrats to USC head coach Pete Carroll on becoming a grandpa (via my facebook friend-age).

+ I really need to download the songs sitting in my iTunes shopping cart.

+ LRK and I hit the tax man last Saturday. Weinstock. He was a Pitt fan/alum. Pitt has fans? (that was for Flood). Flood would have liked the guy.

I like him, because we're getting some money back.

TINWA Who's Now Olympian Hyleas Fountain is now my facebook friend!

Could a TINWA interview be forthcoming?

Technology

For those not aware, Facebook is implementing a redesign starting today. Boo! It's like the transition to DTV, only totally unnecessary and unwarranted. Where were our town hall meetings?!

C'mon, VZW! Ever since I moved to Capital City the battery life of my le chocolat has been in the crapper. What gives, man?

Btw, clicking that link is totally worth it.

Movie I enjoyed last night while trying to avoid political coverage:
V for Vendetta
(I watched it before)

Kansas Redux Recap post sometime soon? Hopefully.

It's Facebook! It Ain't Intramurals!

I learned of Colorado University football coach Dan Hawkins' (aka The Hawk) facebook page about 10 days ago. Being a The Hawk fan since his gadgetry at Boise State and epic "go play intramurals, brotha" rant at CU, I quickly logged on and added The Hawk as a friend.

Since I am also facebook friends with Pete Carroll, I thought I had an "in." Fight on.

Anyway, I waited and waited. I guess being the head coach of a DIVISION I FOOTBALL!! team in THE BIG XII!! occupies a great deal of time. I began losing hope. Didn't The Hawk know I respected his style (and his blog)?

Late Friday night I received an email. The Hawk confirmed me as a friend!

Yay! Go Hawk!

Pete Carroll is My Homeboy

At least on Facebook.

Yes, I copied off Everyday Should Be Saturday and friend requested him, but still... he confirmed. So we're boys. Fight on.
