Madeleine L'Engle died Thursday.I distinctly remember back in fourth grade, my teacher, Mrs. Keener, introducing us to "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. She read to us everyday, and I couldnt' get enough of that book. You know, there is such a thing as a tesseract. Clutch! I became impatient and started reading "A Wrinkle in Time" on my own and quickly moved on to "A Wind in the Door" and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet". Those stories were so epic. I should go back and re-read them.
Her books made me want to read. Rest in peace, Madeleine L'Engle.
