Value-Sized #5 Combo, Please

My man Blah Blah (or maybe a new name - redesign developing...) put a bug in my ear that TINWA has recently become college sports-centric. I performed a quick audit and noticed his word was bond: six out of my last seven posts dealt with college athletics. So...

Thursday was a historic day. A new, stand-alone Chick-fil-A franchise opened in Mechanicsburg (the greater LRH metro area), in a quaint, little gargantuan shopping complex. The C-f-A opening certainly generated buzz, as over 100 people lined up in anticipation of the doors opening.

Sadly, I was not one of them.

But, LRH and I do plan to visit tomorrow for lunch. I will definitely have my eye on the Mechanicsburg C-f-A, to see if it lives up to its sister franchises in Lionville and Downingtown.

CP3 approves of the new C-f-A opening.

Chick-Fil-A always makes a nice theme for a bounce-back post. We were in a Shrewsbury stand-alone a few weeks back and their kids playland was exceptional. The regional growth is promising... hopefully York opens something outside of the dumpy mall - even more dumpier with this morning's word (via MJ, not that she wants to be on your blog more) of Value City going out of business.

Happy to report that the Mechanicsburg C-f-A is up to snuff. We arrived at around 12:15 PM to find a packed parking lot and a bustling scene inside. But... my eagle eye caught an open table for two and it was all good. Even got a free sample of brownie and two coupons for a free C-f-A breakfast. Yum!
