Elevation: Friday

Yay! Southwest is the best! To-and-from DEN with no problems. It was nice - definitely choosing SW more often. Final destination was Colorado Springs. In short, the trip was special, amazing and totally fun-filled. Colorado Springs is extremely scenic and friendly, with a lot of things to do. It continues to amaze me how much friendlier the midwest is compared to icy easterners. Anyway, here a few of my pics and narration from Friday:

LRH and I hit up Seven Falls first. I had something special planned. It was really beautiful. Yes, we walked up ALL those steps, to the top of the falls. All 220+ of them...in 6,000-7,000 feet of elevation. You try it.

Update: I should note that LRH and I ate at Fargo's Pizza Company and drove around Colorado Springs for a bit before heading to Seven Falls.

I popped the question at Seven Falls.

LRH said "yes", and it was post 3:00 PM CT (check-in time), so we headed to The Broadmoor to check-in and check-out the digs.

Yes, I arranged for some celebratory champagne and snacks waiting in our room. When you get engaged to the LRH, it is definitely time to break out the bubbly!
