Satay Trio

Chillin'. Just got finished eating probably the greatest meal ever in recent memory. If anyone ever needs a meal in the LC, I will supremely vouch for Blue Pacific. I usually like to eat at BP because I find the atmosphere tranquil and relaxing, but tonight I hit up "to go" because...well, what can you do? Usually at my preferred eateries, I find a meal I love and I always order it whenever I go. For Blue Pacific, that meal is shrimp pad thai. But tonight I felt alive and broke precedence and ordered the Grilled (Indonesian) Satay Trio (along with a tuna maki - which I always get whenever I'm at Blue Pacific or Ginmya - and endamame). To quote a famous judge, "It was the bomb, yo!" Wow, I got grilled skewers of shrimp, beef and chicken, accompanied by a peanut sauce to dip them in, with curry rice and assorted vegetables. Yum. I will definitely be ordering it again!

Now I'm pretty much killing time until Saturday Night Braff.

+ I saw Sci Fi was airing a Heroes marathon today. I was running around figuratively and literally all day, so I didn't catch much. I always thought of hopping on the Heroes bandwagon, but I didn't get in at the beginning and felt unsure about being able to catch up. Anyone a Heroes watcher? Should I get in on this show before season 2 commences next fall?

+ I've held off on commenting on Kelly Rowland's new single "Like This" because I'm becoming a little self-conscious, but I do really like that song. Props to you, Rowland.

+ Floyd Landis: Tour de France champ disgraced dirtbag...or douchebag. Whatever your preference.

[Update 11:17 PM]: Why in the world would Timbaland and Nelly Furtado waste their hot efforts on "Ching Ching" by making it a Ms. Jade track? C'mon, their contributions deserve so much more than to act as support for some blase female rapper. Jade actually subtracts from the track. Put ol' JT in there! It worked for "Give It to Me".
