Ricky for T.O.? Anyone? I'd do it. In a heartbeat. Ronnie Brown needs the 'Phins backfield all to himself.
Ol' #5 is taking quite a bit of heat in Philly for his recent "Mr. ESPN"-dom. It's nice that Donovan is speaking on the issues regarding T.O. and the 'Birds now, but calling his leadership into question is a very valid argument. A tru leadier would have "addressed" these things at the time they occurred. Let's go, #5.
I knew there was a reason I kept my Manute Bol autograph. Class act.
Best talk show on the planet right now? Isaac. SusCom viewers are out of luck, 'cuz Isaac is on Style Network. "Clap for him/her", "Sketches and Answers", a band stuck in a little corner. Nice job, Maserati. And D-Temp was so against adding Style. Obviously, he's never seen Issac!

I would take RW in a heartbeat. Similarly, I thought of the prospects of the Birds going after Edgerrin James after hearing on the radio this AM that the Colts might let him go unrestricted. The Eagles should have some loot to play with... should we try to bring in a legit 20+ carry/game RB? Westbrook would undoubtedly be unhappy, as he was most of the '05 season.
Regarding McNabb - It's just like moronic Philly fans (from the city of Phila., not in general) to turn on and be upset with the guy who's actually going to be playing for your team next year. Whether Donovan made these recent comments during interviews or not, the team must have learned that Donovan is not the team's locker room "leader" in times of dealing with disruptive knuckleheads. Ol' #5 just isn't the guy to deal with the gaps in TO's brain. But, there are 51 other players on the team and instead of complaining about the way McNabb handled it, they could have done what they felt needed to be done. What we do know is Donovan is the leader of the Birds offense on the field both in the huddle and statistically, and he is the team's leader when facing the media after wins and losses. If that's not enough for teammates and fans, I'm not sure they're teammates or fans.
I thought the same thing when I heard that news on the Edge this morning. He's also ever-quotable. I'd snatch him up if I was the 'Birds.
I'm not concerned about Westbrook at the moment. He got his phat contract - he should just shut up and play.
I agree that #5 is the unquestioned leader in the huddle. But it looks like he's not in the locker room. That's okay, but then you need strong leaders in there to regulate. Donovan is a great guy and super QB - I hope from here on out the Eagles just keep quiet and go about their business and come out ready to play in 2K6.
