Well, Derrick Williams didn't play last night. RB Tony Hunt left the game with an ankle injury after the first series of the first quarter. The running game pretty much disappeared after FB BranDon Snow was injured in the second quarter. Still, Michael Robinson and a stingy Penn State defense prevailed after three OTs in a five hour Orange Bowl. It was a grueling game, and a roller-coaster of a viewing experience. I intently watched all five hours (and about 45 minutes of postgame coverage). I'm starting to feel it. But Penn State deserved to win their bowl game. It was a fitting ending to a magical season. The Blue-White game can't come soon enough!
You might have heard USC v. Texas is tonight? Anyway, I'm having a tough time offering a prediction. I'd like to see Texas win because I'm friends with my Yellow Pages rep (at work) who is a huge UT fan. But how can you root against Reggie Bush. Have you seen his high school highlight reel? Sick! Anyway, USC 41-35. Who knows. Hopefully they score a lot of points with a lot of big plays.
