Hold the phones - ESPN actually picked another mythical college football team to beat this year's USC squad. Last night, Mark May picked the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers over 2005 USC 30 - 24. I believe that Tommy Frazier-led 'Huskers squad would have rolled the '05 Trojans, but I'm just a blogger who likes sports and other stuff. Not an ESPN talking head.
For my money, Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts (who called last night's Holiday Bowl) are 1005% better than any announcer ESPN throws out there (even though they were on ESPN last night).
Speaking of the Holiday Bowl, Oregon threw out its 35th different uni version for this year in said bowl last night. The jury's still out...
...but I don't think it will be good.
