Man, Brett Favre is just awful. It is half-amusing, though, listening to the various ESPN talking heads spin his poor decision-making and horrible play. The current mantra is the Favre doesn't have the line (somewhat valid) and the weapons around him. Please! Gado, until last night's injury, is better than a spent Ahman Green. Javon Walker went down early, but Donald Driver and Robert Ferguson aren't chopped liver. And isn't a superstar player, especially a quarterback, supposed to make the players around him better? Right now, Green Bay is a better team without Favre. Brett Favre - enough!
Yes, my man Gado took a hit last night and is likely out for the year, but Mr. Sparkle still had little trouble advancing to the Poker for Picks FFL Super Bowl. Right now, I'm not sweatin' being Gado-less for the SB. I've got some prospects lined up, and if just one of two scenarios works out, I'll be a-okay.
The latest in the "As the Warier Turns" saga: Warier met with Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson for 3 hours Sunday night. Meanwhile, Pacers GM Donnie Walsh is still looking at trade options. My offer of Warier and Croshere for Kwame Brown and Lamar Odom is still on the table.
I gotta play me some PSP Madden...
