2005 Poker for Picks FFL Champions - preach!

Christmas came and went. I got the best pair of sneakers ever, a few PSP games with potential, a case of Stella, Danger Doom and a bunch of other new clutch belongings.

My Mr. Sparkle squad dominated the Poker for Picks FFL Super Bowl, pummeling Ken's Helmet Heads 120-34. Long live Mr. Sparkle! I will never doubt myself for taking Shaun Alexander #2 overall again. They can't take this away from us. I've already started my offseason plan-of-action. A champion never sleeps!

Hit the movies last night to take in a little Kong. King Kong was quality, but the ending was no surprise. It featured just about a 3 hour running time, too. But the special effects were great - the dinosaur were awesome, the huge insects especially creeptacular and Kong was legit. Jack Black also executed a solid acting performance. Kudos to Kong - solid entertainment and escape-ism. Hopefully I can catch Walk the Line before it exits theaters.
