We here at TINWA are big disciples of the church of T. Boone Pickens.The Magwich to Okie State's Pip recently made the rounds on CNBC and ABC News, offering his thoughts and foresight on oil prices and futures and promoting his wind power initiative.
When he speaks about wind, oil, energy, making money... whatever, I listen. Except for the drilling everywhere part. Drilling everywhere, no. Wind, yes.
His brazen demeanor and penchant for selective philanthropy earn him the address of "maverick," not "eccentric." See what I'm saying?
So why all the love? I need to throw a T. Boone post every once-in-a-while. And maybe he catches this post and throws a little "grant" the TINWA way. Or a job. I'd take that, too.
