Unleashed and Blistering are Key

Over the weekend, the Seattle Times unleashed a blistering special report on Rick Neuheisel's debaucherous 2000 Washington Huskies football team. The paper documents the criminal element prevalent in the Rose Bowl-winning team, and what little Neuheisel and the UW athletic department did to curb it, all while community institutions turned a blind eye.

Chapter 1 details the transgressions of Jerramy Stevens. The UW's star tight end was accused of rape and was a general terror behind the wheel.

Chapter 2 documents the UW's star linebacker, Jeremiah Pharms. Pharms shot and robbed a drug dealer and abused dogs all while UW portrayed the married, father-of-three as a "phamily phirst" guy.

What the Times has released thus far is simply fascinating and very well-done. Needless to say, both Washington and UCLA can't be happy with what has come out, and what is yet to come.
