Movie Commentary: Domino

Boy, I am going to miss HBO and Cinemax come April 8. Last night, courtesy of one of those channels, I watched Domino. The flick intrigued me when it was in theaters, but I couldn't rationalize dropping the eight large to see it. Domino is the story of Domino Harvey, a kid of priviledge who went on to become a model and then flipped the script and became a bounty hunter. The movie was non-stop action. My one qualm was that the editing could have given a weaker person epilepsy. I really liked the movie, though. It was real, even if movie Domino admits near the end that some of it was real and some fake.

Basically, Domino and her crew get mixed up in the kidnapping of two kids whose father is a Vegas mafia boss. Not good. They go around trying to make it right - by any means necessary - before meeting up with all involved parties at the top of the world in Vegas. The final showdown is very explosive. Like I said, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and plan on watching it again sometime.
