Things I Am Writing About

+ During my hiatus, I found out I was in the WaPo! Click and scroll down, I am quoted (under a former moniker) in the piece "Blog Buzz Helps Companies Catch Trends in the Making" - 3rd-to-last paragraph. Now I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but by far my all-time favorite newspaper (dating back to college) is the Washington Post! de Moraes, Kornheiser, Wilbon...me!

+ New Colorado University head coach Dan Hawkins is quite possibly my new favorite college football coach. From his history of gadgetry at Boise State to his epic rant below. Enjoy, brotha:

+ M.I.A. releases "Bird Flu" because the beat is killer. It's no "London People" nor on the level with her part in "I Got Grapes" but as M. Scott would say, it's all go-od.

+ I'm no R. Kelly apologist (although I did like "Trapped In the Closet"), but his chorus on Young Jeezy's "Go Getta" really makes that song. Without R, "Go Getta" would just be another grindin', hood rap. With R, it's fiya.

+ To this day, I despise Next's "Too Close" song. Ugh, I just hate it on so many levels and I always will. Conversely (and 9 years later), I like "On the Hotline" by Pretty Ricky. The beat is pretty dope and their "Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Rick-ay" callouts are amusing. It's fun.

+ This prehistoric shark (I know it's old news and it died soon after being filmed). Prehistoric + shark = me interested:
