NBC was feeling the holiday spirit, that's the only explanation for last night's absolute gift of a primetime lineup. A one-hour The Office Christmas special, followed by Scrubs and 30 Rock resulted in two hours of my life I was happy to provide. One hour of The Office just provided too many instances of hilarity to post here. List them in the comments, if you must. (Are the comments working yet? I was able to comment). Thankfully, NBC is re-airing "A Benihana Christmas" next Thursday (12/21) at 9:00 PM. It's all goo-od.
Tomorrow, for the first time in 46 years, Cincinnati battles Ohio State in hoops at the Wooden Tradition. Curiously, OSU only agreed to the game after Huggs was forced out and the Bearcat hoops program was in shambles. I have no delusions about this game. Cincinnati is my team, but I believe that Mike Conley, Jr., Daequan Cook and Greg Oden (even if he looks 35) will smoke the 'Cats.
+ Penn State "QB" Anthony Morelli takes some time out of Outback Bowl prep to bash his old high school coach. I got a chuckle out of the paragraph mentioning an email Morelli recently received from a fellow student.
Enjoy the last weekend before the Christmas weekend.

I liked all the musical pieces in the episode. Blunt, Jack Johnson, Mindy Kaling singing to Ryan, Creed. Good stuff. Except for Angela.
I enjoyed Jim (with authority) proclaiming the Committee for Party Planning valid.
