My PS3 Story

Wow. This afternoon I made a run to the Exton Circuit City to pick up a 1 GB memory card for my marketing department's new digital camera. When I arrived at the store, I saw about 10 tents set up outside. Curious. I made my way inside and got my shop on. As I was checking out, the sales clerk asked if it was windy and rainy. I confirmed that it was. She snickered. What?

"Those tent people outside," she laughed.

"Yeah, what's that all about?" I further inquired.

"Oh, those people are camping out, waiting for the PS3 to come out tomorrow. Pssssh."

Ohhh...that's right. I found out that people started arriving around 1:30 PM yesterday. I also learned that the Exton Circuit City was only getting 12 PS3's, but the Cherry Hill Circuit City was getting 100. Those bad boys retail for 600 large. Stuff you learn at your neighborhood Circuit City.

+ Via Flood, looks like Blog of Tricks 5-star superprep Herb Pope committed to the land of Theus. For a time it looked like Pope would be Pitt's or K-State's to lose, but both cooled on him in the past couple months. I still like Herb, though. I wonder if J.O. Straight told him to go to NMSU?

+ And BoT 5-star superprep O.J. Mayo commits to USC. As much as I've turned an NBA convert, I will always have my hand in the jar of college hoops (nothing beats March Madness) and recruiting.

+ I know this Clipse song won't be for everybody, but (like disco belle says) I think it is just sick.

Don't forget! Supersized episodes of The Office - which I always watch - and 30 Rock - which I wish I watched more consistently - tonight. Maybe I'll be able to catch 30 Rock on the regular now that NBC was nice enough to move it to Thursdays. Backyard Brawl what?
