Trick-or-Treats and The Association

Happy start of another season of The Association. The NBA's kicking-off things right with the Bulls v. Heat followed by the PHX v. the #24-less Lake Show. Let's see my man, Boris, mess around and get a triple-double.

+ Gilbert: Behind the Keep Shootin'. [Must read]

+ There is a very interesting piece in the Kansas City Star detailing Bob Huggins summer of unemployment, during which he was recruiting for Bob Huggins U. Note to Flood: yer boy J.O. gets a couple paragraphs-and-quote treatment.

+ The LeBrons are back. At first I was like "Yes!" Now, I'm like "Wasn't one season enough?" And I thought there were five of them originally?

+ How about LeBron appearing on The Daily Show last night? I thought it was good tv, although it looked like Jon thought he would be interviewing Sherrod Brown or Mike DeWine. Much better "get" by TDS producers, though.

+ Congratulations, St. Louis! ...On being named the nation's most dangerous city!

+ And to the StL Cardinals, on your "thrilling" World SeriesZzzzzzzz championship.

The Association's back!!! Think of the scores of fans they won over during that 40 point Bulls win!

I'm a fan of the new Leeeeebron commercials. The Suave Lebron is a funny guy.

What an article about Keep Shootin'. Looks like he has his own section in the WaPo. Imagine that: National, Local, Entertainment, Sports, Gilbert, Money, Classifieds.

Just goes to show that last year means nothing this year. I relished the beatdown the Bulls delivered to the Heat.

Business LeBron is my favorite out of the LeBrons. I feel they've taken Wise LeBron too over-the-top.

Seems like WaPo does enjoy slurpin' on some Gilbert. Gil's the best and all, but could that be a sign of lazy journalism? What, Etan Thomas and Donnell Taylor don't have any stories to tell?
