Hit Westview Golf Course for 18 friendly holes (and humidity) with my dad.
I'm happy to say I made it 2 in-a-row over my dad. I really need to work on my putting game, though.
Saw Strangers With Candy.
SWC was funny, made me laugh and kept me entertained, but I expected more. I thought the movie version would push the envelope further. But it seemed like they settled and made a tamer version of the cult classic TV show. SWC had its moments - and it is not wasted money if you liked the show - it just seemed like something was missing a little. It was nice to see Colbert reprise his role as Chuck Noblet, though. I would give SWC 3 stars out of 5.

ey yo, what's up with all the 5's,6's, and 7's on that scorecard. in the words of montgomery burns, "you need to use an open-faced club, a sand wedge," or in the words of ty webb, "ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne"
...mmm open-faced club sandwich
Easy, there. I admitted I needed to work on my putting. I only had one 7, and that was when the match was well in hand.
You hitting any courses out in Hawaii? We want to get you in the mix, when you return.
I love that The Simpsons reset, by the way. And I used a Caddyshack quote in speaking with Dad Saturday morning, when it looked like it might rain ("I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite a while").
i'll gladly hit the par 3 linx when i come home. i've seen a bunch of really nice courses here but i haven't had the opportunity to play any. i think even golf is a little too much activity for bob g.
