Hello

The era at my new job has begun! I got acclimated to my new computer, met some people that I'll need to be re-introduced to again and then got crackin' on a a powerpoint for a big presentation this Friday and reorganizing my office. My office is on the small side, but offers a nice view. And all the people I met were especially nice and helpful. I secured my security card and invites to a cocktail party Thursday evening and a networking breakfast next Wednesday in Philly.

I left around 5:20PM. The drive back was long-ish, but doable for the next month or so. Overall, a good first day and my new job seemed very glad to have me on board. The more time I spent there, the more the feeling became mutual. It was definitely a stark contrast to my last 4-6 months at SusCom. Tomorrow I'm going to lunch with my boss, the IT lady and her new IT assistant. Could Chili's be the destination? It's where small business happens.
