Job and Germs

Yay! I gots me a new job. Was offered this morning during my second interview. My acceptance will be forthcoming (like when I receive the offer letter). Even though it's a bit of a hike, I'm really excited about this new opportunity with a stable and successful company. Plus, no mo' unemployment checks for me.

But first, I had to make it through a pretty rough night/morning. Over the weekend I must have caught a "stomach bug" and fever that had dogged my mom, stepfather, sister and brother during the previous two weeks (but not the dogs). I thought I had outsmarted it, but as it turns out, I couldn't escape it's spewing grasp. I woke up last night at 3AM all discombobulated. I got back to sleep around 4:30AM (for a 5:30AM wake-up). When I woke up, I spewed some more. Yeck. But I couldn't miss my 2nd interview. So I mustered up the intestinal fortitude to make it through the 135 minutes of quasi-queasiness. Although I was about 50/50 listening to them/trying not to have an accident. I'm starting to feel better, and I'm even starting to get hungry.
