Holy schnikies! As March Madness winds down, the coaching carosel naturally heats up. Could my man, Bobby Huggins, wind up in Manhattan...Kansas? According to CBS SportsLine's Gregg Doyel, Huggy Bear is mulling over the Kansas State offer presently. I'm down with that! Add to that, super preps O.J. Mayo and Bill Walker are itching to package themselves and follow Huggs to his next coaching gig (+ 7' 2" center and Huggs fanatic Jason Bennett). There's even some buzz of former Pitt verbal, the sensational Herb Pope, getting on the Huggins gravy train (think Danny Fortson). I'm double-down with all of that! Major developing...Huggs former school - and still my current fave - Cincinnati also might be (finally) closing in on their own head coaching candidate. UC has been given permission to speak with George Washington's Karl Hobbs. I like how his GW squads play, but this blogger and Cincy hoops fan would rather have Murray State's Mick Cronin or present UC interim head coach Andy Kennedy at the helm. Developing...
