I felt compelled all day today to make some post noting the
death of Coretta Scott King. She was the stately wife of Martin Luther King, Jr., and spent her life dovoted to maintaining the legacy of MLK. She's done the best job - by far - of perserving his memory. I wrote my senior seminar thesis on MLK's
Letter From a Birmingham Jail. MLK's charisma and words formed a deep impression on my views towards racism and race relations. It is really sad to hear the first-lady of civil rights passed away.
