Some Restrictions Apply

Through the magic of DVR, I managed to watch Earl, The Office, and the entire Cincinnati game - even the OT (I was clutch in setting the manual timer 1 hour over) - by 11:39 PM last night. I should have reversed the viewing order; I could have used a few laughs after UC suffered another tough loss.

Bravo to the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control for getting off their collective duffs and allowing Cuba to play in the World Baseball Classic (whenever that is). I was lucky enough to score tickets and attend the Cuba Nat'l Team v. Baltimore Orioles "exhibition" at Camden Yards back in '99. It was without question the coolest game and atmosphere I've ever been a part of - even in the drizzly rain. Cuba has sweet unis, sick talent, and they'll probably win the whole bag of marbles.
