No Dice

Back from Altoona, where I peed, bought Lemon-Lime Gatorade and gassed up at probably the largest and most advanced Sheetz ever. Sheetz Corporate was smaller than I expected, but their offices and environment was impressive. I was told they received over 130 resumes for the position and I made the final 11. Yay me! Even though my interviewer was a big Steelers fan, she was very nice and also played fantasy football. My interview went very well and the position is appealing. The bottom line, however, was that I left impressed, but disappointed. To get me to play, you have to pay. And from what Sheetz told me, they would fall pretty significantly below my required coinage. Plus, I believe I was just as experienced and abled as the person I would be reporting to (if not moreso). But it was a nice day off, a nice drive and some nice practice for when it will really count...whenever that is.

Brett (whose been a little lax in the blogging) had to love Everybody Hates Chris poppin' out that Hall & Oates tune. For my money, EHC puts the best music out there (for a show) on a weekly basis.

Gotta agree with you old man. Everybody Hates does put out some classic tunes. Quite frankly, as far as I'm concerned, the more Hall & Oates, the better.
