Live from Danbury, CT/Carmel, NY. The Huggins era at UC is over. Time for some reminiscing. My favorite UC memory: Mel Levitt catching a baseball pass from Ryan Fletcher in the final seconds of the Great Alaskan Shootout and dunking it to beat Duke. My favorite Huggins quote: Eric Hicks, upset over his playing time, returned from Christmas Break late (his freshman year). In the doghouse, The Monster posts 10 points and 8 boards in his first game back. Huggs was asked afterwards, with Hicks in the interview room waiting to answer questions, what he thought of Hicks' performance. Huggs,

"Eric is understanding the game isn't about him, otherwise it wouldn't be called basketball. It would be called Eric Hicks."

The Monster turned out pretty well. I'll miss you, Huggs. UC hoops will never be the same.
