Bad Apples
T.O.senhaus
A few weeks back I battled with Brett Blah Blah Blog on the subject of one Terrell Owens. Well, after watching T.O.senhaus whore themselves out on PTI yesterday evening (and later during the Chargers/Packers halftime), I'm totally ready to concede this guy is a cancer and needs to go...or be Keyshawned for the year. Over the litany of out-of-line statements Owens made, you simply do not call out ol' number 5 like that. T.O.senhaus is like school on Sundays - no class. Pack your bags, Terrell, you're not wanted in Philly anymore.
Apple
I've been getting calls on my cell for weeks from 916-399-7992. I Googled it and found out it was Apple. For some reason, I believed maybe I won something - like iTunes dollars. Nice. Why else would they be calling me twice a day for the past two weeks? Not the case. Instead, I was greeted by some dude who proceeded to try to hyper-aggressively strong-arm me into signing up for a two-year extension on their protection/warranty program. I politely informed him I wasn't interested in coughing up the $250. He then told me I was crazy and tried to scare me Department of Homeland Security-style into taking the deal.
I quickly excused myself and got off the phone. Why I just didn't hang up from the get-go, I don't know. I guess I like to give people a chance to prove they're a-holes. But I really didn't expect this from Apple. Makes an individual want to consider the reverse switch. Has anyone else experienced this aggressive telemarketing from Apple?
